Why is it that Christmas cards fill me with such angst? I don’t enjoy writing them up, filling out addresses, applying stamps . . . none of it really. They just seem like fussy little things that are a bit of a time waster. And can you believe that to send one costs 44 cents now?!? Yet it is something that has to be done. Seriously, there are many more things I would rather be doing than Christmas cards right now. Like any of my many unfinished projects. Hmm . . . this does not bode well for my wedding invitations . . .
Of course it doesn’t help one bit that the metallic pens I bought and thought were going to be really cool are total crap. And, I don’t have enough cards. And, I have this sinking feeling that I don’t have enough stamps either. I better stop, I’m getting more and more annoyed by the second.
