So, I have been working on this sweater, off and on, for about four years now. It is one of my many unfinished projects. But I think the end is in sight. I have the front and back done and the shoulders sewn together. I have completed one arm and am making headway on the second, as you can see from the picture. I have to say, the arms have been fun so far. Am I crazy to say I like picking up stitches? I think it makes a nice looking join, unlike my shoulder seems, which are a bit wonky. The pattern came from Alison Hansel of the Blue Blog and Charmed Knits fame. Believe it our not, she taught me how to knit. It was a hat class at A Good Yarn in Brookline, MA when I was living up there. I soooo miss that store (sniff . . .). But I still have the hat! Well, the sweater fun continues. I’m still deciding if I want to put the ‘H’ (for Hogwarts) on the front. I’m worried it will be too difficult. Then again, I’m brave enough to attempt a whole sweater. Here is my progress so far:

Hi folks, please be patient with me. I just started this blog and have a lot to do. It is going to largely be a photo blog, not a lot of text, meant to chart my freakish lunges through the crafting world. And, maybe encourage me to get more things done.
